“Foundation of a Country Cannot be Build Based on War,” Says King Atoroba

The King of the Azande Kingdom, his Royal Majesty Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue has cautioned the persistence of tribal violence that continues to claim lives of hundreds of innocent citizens, while displacing thousands of people and their property into various IDP camps in Tombura county of Western Equatoria State.
In his press statement in the Palace on Monday morning, King Atoroba said a country cannot be developed based on tribal conflict referring to the existing violence between the two communities of the Azande and the Balanda in Tombura, adding that peace must be the priority for a country to move forward.
Addressing the existing forms of violence within the Kingdom, the king urged the citizens living in Tombura County to embrace peace in their various communities citing that for peace to return to Tombura it’s a collective responsibility and Tombura citizens should priorities peace for themselves and gladly love and forgive one another.
He also urged the local chiefs and youth leaders in the Azande Kingdom to embrace peaceful coexisting societies in their various communities by uniting together and advocate for peace and warn the local population against the dangers of any form of violence in the community.
The King also warned against witch craft stressing that witch craft is one of the conflicts claiming the lives of innocent people within the Azande Kingdom that need to be abandoned.
He further called on the community leaders including the youths to stand firmly against witch craft in their various places regardless of the kind of relationship existing between them and the witch doctors.
