Laziness must be eliminates in the country in year 2021, says Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kusala, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio

The bishop of the Catholic diocese of Tombura Yambio Barani Eduardo Hiiboro has called to an end to laziness among the South Sudanese as the year 2020 edges towards the end and the world ushering the New Year 2021.

Speaking during Christmas celebrations on 25th December at St. Mary Mother of God Parish in Yambio, Bishop Hiiboro underscored the importance of hard work among South Sudanese nationals as it is paramount for development in the young nation.

 He encouraged parents to advices their children to embrace hardworking in every aspects of their life whether at schools or at home.

 Bishop Hiiboro further indicated that leaders must be hardworking for stability and suitability in the country.

 “Many people in South Sudan are currently poverty stricken because of laziness, this ought to change and it is only through hard work that we will change our narratives,” Bishop Hiiboro explained.

He urges the faithful to be committed in every work that they do in the church or in their houses saying that it is the only way to eradicate poverty in one’s life.

This year’s Christmas celebration was a joyful occasion especially in the Central Denary of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio with quite a number of government officials attending the Eucharistic celebrations where some of them participated in the liturgy by taking both the first and second readings.

Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro who is the National Minister of Public Service and Human Resources in South Sudan took the first reading while Hon. Jamma Nunu Kumba the National Minister of Parliamentary Affairs took the second reading.
