St. Theresa Hospital Approves 2025 Budget in Annual Meeting

On its 6th Annual Meeting, the Board of St. Theresa Hospital approved a working budget of 618,118 USD for the year 2025. The decision aims to further strengthen the hospital’s infrastructure and expand its healthcare services to meet the growing needs of the community.
During the passing of the budget, the board also tasked the administration of the hospital to present a list of capital projects and emerged issues for additional funding during the year.
Barani Eduardo the board Chairperson expressed his gratitude towards the hospital's donors, acknowledging their unwavering support for St. Theresa Mission Hospital and their commitment to serving the people of WES (Western Equatoria State) and Nzara County.
A representative from the donor community also spoke during the meeting, reaffirming their dedication to supporting St. Theresa's operations and future projects.
“We remain committed to this cause, as the impact of the hospital on the local population cannot be overstated. We are proud to be a part of this important work,”
The Director of the State Ministry of Health, Mr. Mark Waiwai, who highlighted the collaborative efforts between the hospital and the government to improve healthcare delivery in the region noted, “We are pleased with the progress St. Theresa Hospital has made and continue to support its initiatives. This budget approval marks a significant step forward in our joint efforts to address the healthcare needs of Nzara County and surrounding areas,” the Director said.
