A Call for Prayers for the Successful ordination of 7 Young Men to Consecrated Life

Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Tombura – Yambio (CDTY) calls for prayers as they prepare for the ordination of 7 young men who chose to leave consecrated life.
The ordination is scheduled to be tomorrow, June 3, 2022 at St. Josephine Bhakita Parish in Yambio which is also the day of Africa and Uganda to celebrate the Uganda Martyrs. The Bishop stated that they chose this day since it is a great day of witnessing faith in Africa and Uganda.
According to Bishop Kussala this ordination is very significant since it is a unifying moment for the local church at CDTY. Those to be ordained to priesthood include:
Dn. Elia Kanido Z.
Dn. Simon Mizeredi R.
Dn. Justin Atoroba
Dn. Moses Tameregu
The four were ordained deacons one year ago.
Those to be ordained to deaconate stage include:
Sem. Santino Wise Makuei
Sem. John Bagaipai
Sem. Luke Paingbafuyo
The prelate stated that “the Diocese is happy with the fact that the candidates comes from various communities in the Republic of South Sudan”.
