CDTY Celebrates Academic Triumph: 30 Seminarians and a Priest Graduate with Honors

Graduation is a moment that calls for recognition and celebration. The Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio (CDTY) celebrates the culmination of all the time, energy, and work its members have put into gaining their qualifications.
As the month slowly comes to an end, CDTY on 25th, October 2024, triumphant with the graduation of 30 Seminarians with degrees in Philosophy, and 1 priest with a master's Degree in Psycho-Spiritual Therapy and Counselling at the Catholic University, of Eastern Africa.
It is not just a day for the graduates to feel proud, it is a day for friends and family to be proud of them, and Fr. Miambu Seth, one graduate appreciating the journey noted; “My dear beloved family of CDTY, I need to take this special time to register my sincere thanks to; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit for being very close to me right from birth to date”.
Fr. Seth acknowledged the support he has received from bishop Eduardo, priests, and the entire CDTY family throughout his years of studies.
“My beloved family of CDTY in the person of our visionary bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala and with all my colleagues and priests for being very supportive to me, prayerfully, financially, socially, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and morally”.
He continued, “Your simple styles of life have kept my journey of studies in Nairobi, Kenya a very big 'SUCCESS" and above all the very physical presence of our Lord bishop on our graduation occasion to me was overwhelming”.
Still expressing gratitude for the support, he received, he said, “I can't forget to register my sincere thanks to the Christian faithful of CDTY for their support in different ways more especially my family members be blessed”.
“May God our Creator bless you all and grant to you your heart desires to live a worthy life before Him and others as well”.
“I promise to say one Holy Mass for you all and to keep remembering your different supports to me in my daily prayers”.
He also appealed to all CDTY priests to cultivate the spirit of Unity, Love, Peace, Forgiveness, Reconciliation, Togetherness, and Justice for all.
“Wishing others well in their successes is well and it can't limit our successes too, my success is your success and vice versa and that is the best way it goes in life”.
