Fr. Abas William the Episcopal Vicar for Mid–West Deanery, Monday, March 7th, 2023, called for cooperation from the Ezo county authorities and the NGOs for the success of the CODEP branch office in the area.

“We called to cooperation because CODEP is starting here as a new organization, we do not know all the comers where to go and succeed, so we need your collaboration”. Fr. Abas added

The Vicar added, “opening of the Coordinating office in Ezo has fulfilled the dream of the Bishop of CDTY to decentralize CODEP in all the six deaneries of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio”.

CODEP formally introduced its branch office in the County of Ezo in the presence of County officials, representatives of NGOs operating in the area and Church officials.

The coordinating office will be the focal point for CODEP through implementing projects, writing proposals for the needy in the deanery and County and work closely with the community among other tasks.

Speaking briefly at the event, Ezo county Coordinator for the Relief and rehabilitation commission, promised full support to cooperate with the CODEP’s office branch so that the community on the ground gets missing services.

He added, “the office branch is good news for the County because this will add the number of organizations who will now strive to complement efforts of the county government to render services to its people”.

Mr. Ranga Bia was installed as CODEP coordinator at the mid-west central deanery of Ezo County.
