“Congratulation on your Election Victory”, Bishop Eduardo to Rt. Hn Jemma Nun Kumba
The Bureau of East African Speakers Forum on 11th, November 2022, appointed Jemma Nunu Kumba of South Sudan as head of the regional parliamentary speaker’s forum speaker. Nunu’s nomination and subsequent appointment happened during the 14th meeting of the forum on Friday.

The Bureau of East African Speakers Forum on 11th, November 2022, appointed Jemma Nunu Kumba of South Sudan as head of the regional parliamentary speaker’s forum speaker. Nunu’s nomination and subsequent appointment happened during the 14th meeting of the forum on Friday.
His Lordship Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala, the bishop of CDTY has sent words of congratulation to Rt. Hon Jemma Nun Kumba on her appointment as the head of the East Africa Community Speakers Forum.
“My warmest congratulations on your election victory as First Female East African Community Speakers Forum,” as you enter this great office, on behalf of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio, I extend my very best wishes to you and your government and the people of the East Africa Community.
Hon Kumba has been the Speaker of the Transnational Assembly of South Sudan since 6th August 2021.
The prelate added, “Your Church and the political background will empower you in the continuation of the close and friendly cooperation deemed for EAC, which is based on mutual confidence and respect, which binds our East African countries so closely for so long.”
Bishop Eduardo assured Rt Hon Jemma Nun Kumba of their continuous prayers, “Be sure of our continuous prayers.”
She replaces her outgoing Kenyan counterpart, Hon. Moses Wetangula.
