We should Join our Hands together to Work towards the better development of our Church says Bishop Eduardo

Bishop  Eduardo Hiiboro, the Bishop of the Catholic Dioceses of Tombura -Yambio during his pastoral visit to our lady of Mercy parish Rii-Rangu for the launch of its yearly project of bricks-making for the construction of the church encouraged the Christians to join their hands together to work towards the better development of the temper of God.

The prelate said, it’s everyone’s responsibility to contribute and work hard for the construction of our Lady of Mercy parish Rii-Rangu.

Bishop Kussala further stated that we should not wait for donors or outsiders to come and develop our churches but we should dirty our hands and work as well as making use of the free resources that God created for us.

Our lady of mercy parish Rii-Rangu was founded in 1951 but has never been able to construct a church for prayers.

Rev. Fr. Darios Cosmas  Rukuari, the priest in charge of our Lady of Mercy parish said he has taken the responsibility of the church together with all the faithful groups to see that the church has been built and completed and prayers are being conducted in.

Fr. Darios Cosmas added that their aim is to lay 300,000 bricks for the construction of the tempel of God.

He further thanked the Bishop of the catholic diocese of Tambura Yambio for his love and commitment towards the development of the church.

Finally the Christians welcomed the initiative and promised to work hand in hand with the parish priest to ensure that their church is completely build hence calling upon other catholic parishes to put them in prayers as they begin this yearly project of brick –making  for the construction of the church.
