Yambio Electrician Transformation Group Calls for More Support

Yambio Electrician Transformation Group, a newly established group in Yambio County is calling for support from donors and implementing partners to help fund projects for youths and young women to explore their talents in vocations.

The group was formed earlier this year 2024, to create job opportunities and minimize laziness reduce theft, robbery, and the level of unemployment among the youths in South Sudan.

Speaking to Anisa FM on Friday morning, the Director and Project Manager of Yambio Electrician Transformation, Mr. Nvoyo Angelo, highlighted some services rendered, among which were Electricity installation, Plumbing, Tiles installation, and Masson.

According to Angelo, it is a legal operational group with a legal working license from the County Authority, and the group has a number of 32 members who completed their training in various multi-purpose centers in Yambio.

Angelo said the group has the vision to reduce the rate of laziness, theft, and other criminal activities among the youths in Western Equatoria State.

He, however, called on youths and young women who want to join the group to come and explore their talents in what he termed as manual work citing this can benefit them and the community.

On the other hand, Malesh Daniel Safi, the Deputy Director of Yambio Electrician Transformation expressed his gratitude to the group for positively impacting his personality and the family, especially paying children’s school fees on time.

He urged his fellow youths to work with hands rather than looking for white-collar jobs stressing that working with hands is the best way to develop this country (South Sudan) and be creative in Job creation.
