Local leaders and the faithful alike expressed a sense of optimism, seeing the arrival of the clergy as a symbol of peace and unity, especially amid the challenges faced by the community.

In his address Cardinal Zuber Gabriel Wako noted, "God did not create Zande, Balanda, and Dinka people, but rather He created man and woman," he said. "You have to treat me as me, not by my tribe. I tell you, love one another and live-in peace."

Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the safe arrival of the visiting clergy noting, "We are thankful for the presence of Cardinal Wako and Bishop Konig, and we are filled with hope for what this visit represents," said Bishop Kussala. "This is a time for us to reflect on our shared faith and the importance of unity and peace in our community."
