The vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio who doubles as the Dean for Mid-East Deanery with clergies in the Deanery have established five major coordination offices to render services in the parishes under the Deanery.
The coordination offices include Pastoral, Education, Health, Finance and Developmental wings. The offices are keys in delivering services to Christians as part of proclaiming God’s Gospel to the world. The five offices will be represented by coordinators who will work hand in hand with the CDTY secretariat.
The Episcopal Vicar Rev. Fr. Bagbiowia Thomas has become the first pastoral coordinator for Mid-East Deanery.
The establishment of the five coordination offices came as a result of a one day meeting to discuss action plans for the mid-east for the first of its kind since the creation of the Deanery by His Lordship Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio.
In an inclusive interview with Rev. Bagbiowia Thomas the Vicar general on Thursday after the meeting at Our Lady of Assumption Rimenze Catholic Parish, he discloses that the aim of the meeting was to establish the offices to help in coordinating the activities within the four Parishes in the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio.
