Hon. Miri the county commissioner of Maridi County has warmly welcomed the initiative by the Catholic Organization for Development and Peace (CODEP) to dig a hand pump water source in Maridi town and Mambe Payam.
The Commissioner said the project will benefit the community and the support works of the Parish.
The deputy director of the CODEP, Mr. Ngbanisa David Ariyo who doubles as the manager for humanitarian together with his team, met with Maridi County Commissioner in his office to introduce the “wash project” the Catholic organization intended to implement in Maridi.
This year CODEP has planned to dig seven hand pump water sources in different locations in the Diocese with the aim to curb water scarcity among the community and the parishioners in those planned areas.
