The Catholic Brothers’ Christian Instruction based in Rii-Menze Parish in collaboration with the Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio, have dispersed four young men to Uganda for a two years course on brotherly religious formation.
The four young men from the diocese left in the morning of Friday from Yambio to Juba, where they are expected to proceed to Uganda.
Speaking to the Rurugene online newsletter, Brother Kitone Delto of the brothers’ Christian instruction based in Rii- Menze said that the aim for sending the young men was to ensure they sustain the work of the missionary in the region.
“Four young men are going to be sent to Uganda to be trained and be in the formation to become brothers of Christian instruction, because as missionary, we tap the native young men so as to sustain the mission”, Delto stated.
Brother Delto said the young men will undergo a two-year course in the area of education and religious affairs, after they will be compelled to join the novitiate for only one year that will qualify them to become brothers of Christian instruction.
“After that they will rejoin what we called the scholastic year known as academic pure to internalize more about missionary life and spirituality of the founder”, Delto added.
Christian brothers is a worldwide catholic entity with the headquarters in Porelm in France. The congregation stated in 1819.
Brother Delto added that if the four young men complete their studies, there is hope that they will be able to open more missionaries in different parts of the country.

“I am very glad as we are leaving now to Uganda for the studies, and pray that God may keep us through the course until we achieve our goal”, Stephen said.
Mr. Kosa George, speaking on behalf of the parents applauded the Bishop of CDTY for his continues efforts toward educating different people in the the diocese.
George said the Christian Brothers of Instruction have played a greater role in educating the young ones in the state through the provision of quality education and nurturing good quality of citizenship.
