Samaritan Purse Distributes Books to Children Learning at Ngarangba Nursery and Primary School

Vulnerable children learning at Ngbarangba nursery and primary school received varieties of motivational booklets from Samaritan Purse International, with the aim to encourage the children to embrace the education. Most of the vulnerable children in these school lost their parents during the violence conflict in Yambio.

Ngbarangba nursery and primary school is located at Akorogbodi in the outskirt of Yambio municipality and it is managed by the department of women and family under CODEP of the Catholic diocese of Tambura Yambio.

Speaking during the distribution of motivational booklets to the children, the manager of Samaritan Purse International Mr. John Nkunge acknowledged the effort exerted by women and family to establish the learning center to care for this group of people in the community.

 “We came with some material for the children to read and since Samaritan Purse is a Christian Organization, we believe in people get to know the word of God wherever they are. We brought some reading material for children and I think our visit is just to encourage the teachers, the children to continue with what they are doing and we can see there is a big impact in the community just because of their effort”. John stated     

Samaritan Purse is a tax-exempted charity organization that has been helping in Jesus’s name since 1970.
