In a message shared through WhatsApp, a member said, “dear family members of CDTY, let us remember the peaceful repose of the soul of one of the CDTY sons by the name of Mr. Simon Ramadan known at the time as (Rama) who has served the diocese for many years in the capacity of a driver and mechanic. He died at around midnight in Lui hospital where on a mission of serving the needy he was hired by one of the organizations to go and support the needy around Mundri where death caught up with him, fell sick for a few days, admitted in Lui hospital I am told he was put on oxygen till last night he had his last breath. We pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace and pray for the consolation of his family especially his young son Kumbonyaki and his wife. May his soul rest in peace Amen.”
