The Hon. Deputy Governor of Western Equatoria state Dr. Kennedy Gaaniko yesterday pay a visit to Majestic Moya Company which is operating in the state capital Yambio and encouraged those staying abroad to bring activities into their state.
“For those staying abroad, you should bring developmental activities rather than spoiling the image of your country, leaders on social media, according to him which cannot move this state or country forward”.
While addressing the staff and the community at the majestic moya industry compound Dr. Kennedy called upon all the sons and daughters of western Equatoria state to bring more industries into the state to pave way for sustainable development and also to create jobs for their people not to depend only on the government and NGOs.
Dr. Kennedy Gaaniko who is the state SPLM chairman further lauded Mr. Aquila Kufuta who is the founder of majestic Moya for thinking wisely to introduce the first water industry into the state which has already created job opportunities for the community living around.
He further noted that the state government is going to stand strong to support any project of development and also will look into the issue of high taxes on the businessmen/women of Western Equatoria state, which sometimes affects their operations in the state.
For his part the state minister of local government and law enforcement Hon. Bakoyogo James Severino underscored, “they are going to provide better security to make sure that all activities related to development in the state are operating well.
Finally, the manager of majestic moya Mr. Kent Samuel appreciated the effort of Hon. deputy governor to humble himself to visit and observe what they are doing in the state.
According to Kent, they are planning to establish a juice industry and extend their wall sell centers across Western Equatoria in order to supply the community with clean water at a cheaper price.
Currently, Majestic Moya company is operating in Yambio county along the road heading to St. Bekhita Parish behind Dee maku church where they are selling one create at SSP2,700 (two thousand seven hundred south Sudanese pounds) only.
