The acting governor of western Equatoria state who is the minister of local government and law enforcement Hon. Bakoyogo James Severino on Friday the 3rd of January 2023 called on the youths of Western Equatoria to stand strong to defend their community.
Speaking in the Ikpiro residential area Hon. James said “it's now upon the Youths of this state to defend their land and community from criminals such as Ambororo who are now destroying their ancestor’s land and killing the community.”
Acting Governor further encouraged the people of Western Equatoria State to embark on agriculture as they can see a highway coming which is going to create more Job opportunities encouraging them not to sit and wait for the government yet the government cannot give each of them money rather will be providing the basic services such as hospital, schools, roads among others.
He further said people should unite and work together in order to bring sustainable development into the state, parents should take full responsibility for their children by sending them to school and teaching them all the domestic work.
Finally, Hon. James told all those having private health sectors to value the life of human beings rather than selling tramadol to the Youths without consultation from doctors.
