The Charismatic Renewal Movement Raised 360,000ssp to Support the Movement’s Work

The Catholic Charismatic movement in the central deanery of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio has managed to raise 360,000ssp in a concert organized to solicit funds to aid the work of the movement.
The event that was organized on the Pentecostal day at St Mary primary school, brought in hundreds of Catholic believers to join hands in raising funds as part of their contribution.
However, about 400,000ssp was pledged by prominent Catholic believers.
Hon. Eddy Okele, who is also a member Charismatics renewal movement at St Mary, appreciated the organizing committee for their commitment in order to make the day colorful adding that, such activities can pave the way for development in our churches.
For her part, Hon. Christine Mokorondere who is one of the Legion Mary members contributed 20,000 SSP, urging her group members to consider a contribution as an important aspect of the development of any movement.
She calls on the parishioners to work hand in hand in order to support different developmental activities in their parishes.
Different devotion groups presented dramas, comedies, songs, and dancing in the presence of hundreds of Catholics and community members in the Yambio capital of Western Equatoria State.
