"Make God Central to Your Life,” Bishop Hiiboro Urges Manikakara Parishioners as he Lays Foundation Stone of Church Construction

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio, Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala on 18th October 2024 graced Manikakara Parish and laid the foundation stone of Church construction.
In his sermon, Bishop Hiiboro passionately encouraged parishioners to embrace God in their daily lives. “When we make God central to our lives, we find peace and purpose”, bishop Hiiboro said.
The prelate also stressed the significance of unity among different churches, urging the community to work together for the common good.
“We are all part of one body in Christ. Let us support one another in our spiritual journeys and collective missions”.
After the Holy Mass, Bishop Hiiboro officially launched the foundation for a new church building in the parish. The initiative has been met with enthusiasm, as community leaders expressed their commitment to support the project.
“We accept this vision wholeheartedly and will do everything we can to ensure its success”, one of the leaders stated.
On his part, the Parish Priest of St. Mary Help of Christians Manikakara Rev. Fr. Michael welcomed the bishop’s initiative of launching the parish foundation stones noting that it is a positive move towards the growth of the local church.
