Bishops Argues Board Members to be Serious about the Mother & child clinic Tombura

Barani Edwardo Hiiboro Kussala, the Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Diocese has called upon the board members of the ongoing construction of the health care facility in Tombura to be mindful about it and the assets during this time of constructions to the time it will start serving the community.

The facility once completed will be dedicated to the services of mothers and children throughout the diocese and beyond.

Bishop Hiiboro also urged the public to provide good security to the engineers who are working at the site so that work can be done without fear and be completed within the stipulated time. He also called upon Christian to support the engineers during the constructions in any way they can afford to see it to completion.

According to the chief engineer Mr. Jerome David, the completion of the construction work for the Clinic is estimated to be six months’ time from February. He however expressed that they are currently facing some challenges with the work and called upon the relevant personalities concerned to cooperate.

These sentiments were expressed during Bishop Hiiboro’s visit to the site in Tombura County. The clinic, St.

Raphael Mother and Child clinic is a project of Catholic Diocese Tombura-Yambio. The Catholic Church in Western Equatoria through the Diocese is much concern about the wellbeing of Christians and all residents in the state and is doing all it can to help improve the living conditions of all.
