Church Leader Encourages Media to Convey Peace Messages

The bishop of the catholic diocese of Tombura, Yambio has called media practitioners to convey message of peace in the country.
His lordship bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala says the church is prioritizing peace in the communities that should features in the news media to educate the citizens. He acknowledges the crucial roles media play to inform the public and disseminate peace.
“For you, there is always one message you need to push into the ears of those who even don’t want to hear. You know peace is our message and build around faith in God and that’s what we stand for”, Bishop Hiiboro stresses.
Bishop Hiiboro lauded the church for preaching peace even to the grassroots, especially the spiritual leaders, priests, catechists and religious nuns who are working very hard to pass the massage of peace.
The catholic bishop encouraged team work and friendship among the staffs saying, offices are effective in terms of their service deliveries when there is friendship and team work, that is where a person becomes great”.
His Lordship Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala is the Head of communication in Sudan Catholic Bishop's Conference (S.C.B.C), Board chairperson of Catholic Radio Network (CRN) and the Chancellor of the catholic university.
He briefed the Catholic radio journalists during his tour in Juba on Friday, 19 August, 2022.
