The solidarity teacher training college in Yambio on 24th October 2022 graduated 23 primary teachers in teaching profession under the theme “Ambassadors of Society Transformation”.

During the graduation ceremony the Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio Rev. Fr. Thomas Bagbiowia congratulated the graduands for the journey they have accomplished saying “they are no more job seekers but job creators” he added “they have started the journey of the profession stressing that the profession of teaching demands their effort and energy”.

Fr. Thomas Bagbiowia stated that as they go to their various places, they will be carrying out the mission of Jesus Christ of teaching.

He finally expressed his gratitude to the tutors, the non-teaching staffs of Solidarity College for building South Sudan in different ways.

On the other hand the representative of the graduands Mrs. Sarah Nayesi expressed her joy for having completed the course despite the challenges they have gone through especially during the covid-19 pandemic and at the same time giving thanks to the administration for having sacrificed  their time, resources  and energy for their wellbeing at the college.

Mrs. Sarah Nayesi finally called upon her fellows’ graduands to work together with their respective community members with the hope of transforming the society and not involving themselves in activities that will lead to destruction in the society.

Lastly Br. Stephen Wandabusi administration representative during his goodbye delivering speech called upon the graduands to always see themselves as ambassadors of the college and never to allow selfish interests to blemish the integrity they have nurtured over the years, he continued, “be kind and good people of South Sudan, allow the words of your elders to lead you as you journey to greatness, dream big and be positive about whatever you are doing.”
