Thanksgiving Prayer Marks Hon. Africano's Appointment as South Sudan National Revenue Authority Chief

The County Authorities in Maridi in collaboration with religious leaders organized a thanksgiving prayer for the elevation of Hon. Africano Mande Gedima to the position of South Sudan National Revenue Authority Commissioner General.
Speaking during the prayer on Sunday 22nd, October 2023 at the SPLM Secretariat in Maridi county, the Episcopal Church of Sudan and South Sudan (ECSS) Bishop of Maridi, Rt. Rv. Moses Zungo said. Hon Africano is a God-fearing person and the Lord always blesses such people.
Rv. Moses appreciated the government of Maridi County under the leadership of county commissioner, Hon. Miiri Alfred Mathias for organizing such and allowing religious leaders to speak to the government.
“Blessed is a person who puts God ahead of his work so that, his name will be praised by the almighty God, our brothers and sisters of Maridi County search person who really knows God, and has Church leaders we are happy with Africano for his hospitality toward his people others should take the same ways”.
For his part, Hon. Africano has urged the youth and citizens of Maridi County to support the county government, elders, and church leaders. He called upon the citizens to take full responsibility and contribute to the development of the country.
“I want you to stand strong with the commissioner of Maridi County, Executive Directories, and citizens who belong to Maridi, you should not think that your right will pay back somewhere but coordinate with authorities, I know things are taught all of us should work hard for the progress in our county at large”
Africano Mande Gedima was elevated to the position of South Sudan National Revenue Authority Commissioner General, earlier this month through a presidential decree read in the state Television SSBC some weeks back.
