Director General Tong Kuel Donates 50kg of Rice Seeds, Requesting Cross-Regional Agricultural Partnership

Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala on his positive and fruitful visit to Aweil in Wau Diocese, met the Director General Mr. Tong kuel who generously donated 50kg of rice seeds and providing samples ready rice plants from Aweil Rice Projects.
During the meeting Mr. Tong in expressing his joy on bishop’s visit to them asked for collaboration between Western Equatoria where long-staple rice is also grown.
“The director General expressed his joy for me for visiting the farm and then I also told me that they could be able to collaborate with Western Equatoria which is also another where rise of long staples is being grown and so he offered the 50KG of seeds of rice that I have to plant in a western Equatoria”.
Additionally, the Director General gifted bishop 20lts of natural honey from Aweil, natural honey gives various uses and benefits and it’s a nice touch to receive such a gift.
“He gave me too one 20lts of natural honey from Aweil so we are so grateful to them”.
