Star Trust Organization (SOT) Graduated over 100 Youths across Tambura County in different Fields of Vocational Training

Star Trust Organization (STO) in partnership with United Nations Mission in South Sudan and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) graduated 453 youths in Tambura County under the project of Community Reduction Violence through Livelihood Skills, Training for Socio economic Empowerment (CVR).

Speaking during the graduation ceremony in Tambura County the Executive Director of SOT Mr. Steven Tangun said, "Tambura County has gone through a lot and youths have suffered as well because there was nothing that could have kept them busy or generating income for them, we have trained 453 youths across the county in different fields such as Catering and Bakery, Solar maintenance and installation, Motor Bike repairs, Vegetable production and poultry".

He further called on the authority of Tambura County to maintain peace in order for this young people to practice what they have gain.

"Whenever young people comes together to practice positive things brings development, it's now time for the youths of Tambura County to forget what happened in the past and work as brothers and sisters to attract more developmental activities into their County" says Tangun.

While the acting commissioner of Tambura County up lauded the youths who completed this training since it was not easy, he called on the youths of Tambura County to stop finger pointing each other's, describing themself by their tribe of origin.

From now on ward this issue of Azande and Balanda or Dinka, Baka, Muru should stop while you are in Tambura call your self Tamburanian or South Sudanese because this issue of tribe has cause most of the community to safer across the country. And the issue of revenge should also stop let you be the peace ambassadors of Tambura County.

For their part the beneficiaries up lauded the SOT for choosing Tambura County and bring such capacity building down to them, which will help them to generate school fee's, catering for their family as well as developing their county after all what happened in the past.

They further added that, let this not be the end since the world is moving forward, if SOT noted that there are new things coming up, they should not forget about Tambura County.

The beneficiaries of Community Reduction Violence through livelihood skills, Training for socio economic Empowerment were brought from different villages and Payams of Tambura County.
