King Atoroba has Launched the Construction of a Fence around the Tomb of the Late King Gbudue.

The King of the Azande Kingdom on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 launched the construction of a fence around the late King Gbudue tomb as part of respect and recognition of the late Azande monarch.
Speaking during the launching, King Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue calls for support in order to complete the project adding that the tomb is historical, “this tomb is very important to the Azande people and it is the big umbrella of the Kingdom, therefore I call upon you to support the construction in any way” he stressed.
Atoroba urged the state authority to support the construction in every aspect.
The people of the Azande Kingdom contributed 98, 50 SSP and pledged 1, 500, 00 SSP and other construction materials during the launching of the construction of the fence around the tomb of the late King Gbudue.
More than 50 people who were invited to wittiness the launching of the construction of the fence around late King Gbudue pledged to contribute to the construction of the fence with different construction materials as part of the support to the Azande Kingdom.
According to the team of engineers, the construction may take about 4 million South Sudanese pounds.
Among those who pledged to contribute included the deputy governor of Western Equatoria Hon.Dr. Kennedy Gaaniko Baime pledged 5000,000 SSP as part of his contribution and other construction materials.
His majesty Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue the King of the Azande Kingdom appreciated those who contributed for their generosity and support toward the construction, “this is the spirit I want from you and we must continue with the same spirit so that our kingdom can develop”, he noted, “we must therefore encourage initiatives that contribute to the development of the Kingdom”.
He added that the project is part of the preparation to stage the first anniversary of the Azande Kingdom on 9th February 2023, while encouraging the Azande community in Diasporas and well-wishers to fully participate in the rebuilding of the Kingdom through contributions.
In attendance were members from the royal palace of the King in Yambio of western Equatoria State, government representatives, head securities, and members of organized forces.
