As faithful Christians gathered to commemorate the feast of Jesus Christ the King, a total of 233 members of the Catholic Action in Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio (CDTY) have on Sunday renewed their vow in serving Christ the Lord as the King.
The combined number of both female and male participants partied this eve as the Catholic Church in Sudan and South Sudan came together to celebrated the Eucharistic congress, a major event held in juba by all the Catholic Dioceses in Sudan and South Sudan.
In his homily, Rev. Fr. Dominic Sasa the Catholic Chancellor urged the members of the Catholic action to serve Christ the king as they promised and follow his life style in preaching the good news of the Gospel.
Fr. Sasa expressed his gratitude following the commitment made by the members of the catholic action citing this will inspire the young generation and boost chances of the expansion of the Diocese.
He further asked the faithful Christians to consider Jesus Christ as their personal King, as the Catholic faith in Sudan and South Sudan came together to commemorate the National Eucharistic Congress.
Rev. Fr. Dominic Sasa also encouraged the group to continue serving God diligently with zeal stressing that the Gospel of Christ cannot be left behind; rather it should be delivered to the every Christians.
