The Catholic Christian community under Nakido Sene parish in Nzara County recently paid a courtesy visit to Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro to express their heartfelt congratulations and appreciation for his unwavering dedication to providing essential services to the Christian community.
During the visit, Mr. Augustino Peter, the head of the choir at Gabat Center, conveyed a congratulatory message on behalf of the community, commending Bishop Hiiboro for his significant contributions across various sectors including health, education, and spiritual guidance.
In his address, Peter described Bishop Hiiboro as a good shepherd, father, friend, and brother, expressing gratitude for the bishop's efforts in uplifting Nakido Sene parish to the status of Denary, a development that filled the community with pride.
Furthermore, Peter highlighted the aspirations of the community at Gabat Center, appealing to Bishop Hiiboro to consider upgrading the center to the next level of worship. He emphasized the community's willingness to contribute to the construction of a new temple but lamented financial constraints hindering their progress.
Bishop Hiiboro, in response, acknowledged the visiting team and assured them of his commitment to collaborate closely with the faithful at Gabat Center.
The delegation, led by Rev. Fr. Anthony Bangoye, the parish priest of Nakido Sene, also presented the bishop with assorted farming products as a token of their steadfast faith in the diocese.
