“Let this Centenary Celebration Strengthen your Faith in God”, Says Bishop Hiiboro to CDTY Christians

Thousands of faithful gathered on Sunday at St Mary Mother of God to commemorate the centenary of the Legion of Mary, marking an important historic moment in the diocese’s spiritual journey.
In his homily, Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro Kussala said that this anniversary reminds believers to strengthen their relationship with God.
“Today, many have drifted away from their faith, following paths contrary to the teachings of Christ,” he lamented. “This celebration must inspire us to return to God and adhere to the principles of our faith”.
Bishop Hiiboro called upon the members of the Legion of Mary to take on the role of evangelizing, reaching out to those who have strayed from the teachings of the Church.
During the festivities, attendees participated in prayers, hymns, and testimonials, celebrating the legacy of the Legion of Mary and its impact over the past century.
