Citizens should move freely without fear says the police commissioner of Yambio.
The Police Commissioner of Yambio in Western Equatoria State Mr. James Enoka Monday has said that that the sight of many soldiers around the state should not scare away the locals.
The Police Commissioner of Yambio in Western Equatoria State Mr. James Enoka Monday has said that that the sight of many soldiers around the state should not scare away the locals. He indicated that since the preparations started for the reception of the governor, security has been beefed up in the state therefore the evidence of many soldiers patrolling around.
“We the security organs are prepared for the reception of the governor, we have security forces from Yambio, Amadi, Tombura and Maridi they are already here with us,” Enoka James said.
He explained that the security status in the state has improved stating that 48 people have been arrested for different crimes including rape cases. He urged people to obey the law even as they observe the preventive measures against COVID 19.
“I am glad to say that the security situation in Yambio is improving, those who committed crimes in Yabwa Masia and other places have been arrested and they are now in custody waiting to be brought to book,” said James Monday.
