YIMAPS has Launched a Driving School Program in Yambio

The Yambio Institute of Management and Polytechnics Studies of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio on January 9th 2023, launched a driving school program in Yambio that aim at empowering youth in the state.
Mr. Gbanisa David Ariyo the Principal of the institution reveals to Anisa Radio that they have 22 students who are set to begin their courses on basic mechanics and driving for three months.
David added that their focus is to build people for sustainable development in the country, “our main work in YIMAPS is to train and give basic skills to our youth in order to empower them so that they are able to survive, self-sustainability” he explained.
He also encouraged parents and idle youth to join the program in order to equip themselves with knowledge and skills for their own sustainability, “all those young people who did not make it academically well, who are now staying idle let them come to get this training” he narrates.
Currently, the Institute has; the College of Business administration, school of education, and social sciences.
In June last 2022, the Institute graduated forty students who completed three years of diploma causes.
During the launching, representatives from different Diocesan institutions and traffic policy representatives were present.
