A 53-year-old catechist in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio has called on parishioners and other faithful Christians to work collectively in order to build the church.
Catechist Lucia Hida with more than 13 years of experience as a catechist is a female catechist of Saint Mary Magdalene Asanza Chapel under Saint Mary mother of God Catholic Parish Yambio 7 kilometers away from Yambio town.
She calls on the parishioners to embrace work in order to be supportive of their church leaders for the development adding that building is a very good evangelistic tool while calling on well-wishers to support the construction of the church.
Catechist Lucia revealed that the local builders have committed themselves to join engineers, and other faithful believers in building the house of the Lord but need support for the smooth running of the work,
For his part, engineer Arkangelo Kanido Boko said that despite challenges of working tools like Will barrow, among other working tools are missing, they are committed to supporting the work of the church citing that lack of building materials and the water distance that could facilitate the church construction is a problem.
The bishop of CDTY Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala last year launched a lying of bricks for the construction of the churches
