By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, one of the best-known of all Catholic devotions. On 1st, October 2024, Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala welcomed the month of Rosary at St. Mary Mother of God and reminded Christians that the result of the Holy Rosary is peace.

“The result of the Holy Rosary is peace, your arm is endowed with power, your hand is strong, your right hand exalted”.

Addressing the Christians during the launching of the Holy Rosary prayers, bishop Hiiboro emphasized the transformative power of the Holy Rosary, encouraging the congregation to engage deeply with the spiritual practice stressing that the Holy Rosary serves not only as a means of personal devotion but also as a powerful tool for intercession and peace within their communities.

The prelate also noted that October is the month of all saints, inviting the faithful to honor the exemplary lives of those who have walked the path of holiness before them.

Acknowledging the various challenges faced by individuals and communities, the local ordinary of CDTY called upon the faithful to seek forgiveness through the intercession of our Mother Mary.
