I want to welcome you all to the set aside month, October of the Holy Rosary. It is a month of grace.
This month of October, Catholic are invited to pray every day their Holy Rosary.
It is true that many of you will see Catholics carrying about images of the Virgin Mary and Rosaries all around, please do not be mad at them. They are only doing one thing - praying for Peace and all other needs. You can also join them or if not, just respect their way of prayers.
The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary in the Catholic Church, highlighting its significance for several reasons, particularly this year in our diocese we have several intentions:
♧ Successful celebrations of the Centenary of the devotion group of Legion Maria
♧ Loud Campaigning for Catholic School Day on October 10th.
♧ Diocesan Annual Catechists Day, with celebrations
♧ National Eucharistic celebration in Juba 12th - 25 November, 2024.
♧ CENTENARY Celebration in Rii-Yubu Ave Maria Catholic Mission, 5th - 8th December 2024.
♧ Diocesan thanksgiving day with rededication of Mary Help of Christians pro - Cathedral, Tombura Catholic Parish.
Also there are these brief summary underlining the importance of October's Rosary Prayers:
