A committee in Ezo County, formed earlier this month to oversee and strategize the Ezo-to-Source Yubu road project, received essential working tools on Monday. The tools, according to reports, will facilitate progress on the road rehabilitation efforts.

This initiative follows a call by Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio, urging joint manual and collective participation in filling potholes along the road to Ngboko in preparation for the upcoming Centenary Celebration in December.

Speaking to Anisa FM Radio on Monday evening, Rev. Fr. William Abash confirmed that the road project had initially commenced within Ezo County but faced interruptions due to a lack of sufficient tools.

Fr. Abash expressed gratitude for the timely donation, emphasizing that it would greatly benefit community members working on the project. He noted that the provision of these tools would expedite activities as the deadline for the road project aligns with preparations for the Centenary celebration.

"Despite the temporary halt caused by limited resources, the community has resumed the project with renewed vigor," Fr. Abash remarked. He also extended appreciation to the donors and praised Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro for his unwavering commitment to ensuring the project's successful completion.

The tools provided include pangas, spades, pickaxes, wheelbarrows, and other essential items, all aimed at supporting the road project in Ezo County.
