Bishop Kussala Expresses Deep Thanks for Love and Support on his 16th Episcopate Anniversary

Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala, the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio (CDTY) has sent a message of appreciation to the people of God thanking them for journeying with him in prayers as he marked his 16th anniversary since he was installed as the bishop of CDTY on 29th June 2024 on the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul.
“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love and support I received from all of you during the 16th-anniversary celebration, June 29th, 2024, Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul”.
In a text message shared on WhatsApp on Tuesday, July 2nd, bishop Eduardo noted that the love, support, and prayers that surrounded him during this milestone have deeply touched his heart and enriched his journey.
“Your love and encouragement have deeply touched me, enriching these years with closeness, courage, satisfaction, prayers, and respect”.
He continued, “Thank you sincerely for standing by me throughout my service as Bishop, this humble role”.
“Each time, I celebrate the Holy Eucharist, I pray for abundant blessings from our Creator upon each of you, let us continue to unite in good works for peace and development, guided by the genuine pursuit of everyday holiness that you have graciously shared, once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support, donations, advice, encouragement, respect, and prayers”.
“May God bless you all abundantly”.
