The birth of triplets in Nzara County on 10th August barely a week after South Sudan was shocked by the brutal murder of three children in their house in Juba is being viewed as a blessing for the State and Nation and Christians in the county have said that they all need to support the family so that the parents can be able to bring up the babies in Godly way.
About two months ago, a woman gave birth to 4 babies in Rumbek County which is in Lakes State and it was a joy for the country.
“Our hearts were full of sorry and pain when the country was awakened by the murder of three little angels. But now, our joy is profound as we feel that in a way, the newborn babies have replaced the ones we just lost as a country,” a resident in Nzara County was quoted saying.
The triplets were born to a 28-year-old James Isaani Albert and 26-year-old Mariata Joseph Diada. The family which is from a very humble background is staying in Sangua and are parents to five other children.
Apart from farming, Albert and Marieta have no other sources of income and live in abject poverty. Albert is a catechist at the local church, while Mariata is a housewife.
Some of the challenges the couple and their children are facing include lack of basic amenities and needs.
The family is therefore in dire need of support to meet up with the current economic situation of the country.
