As the construction of four classrooms at St. Augustine primary school is gearing towards completion, his Lordship Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala paid an inspection visit to the site to acquaint himself with the development there.

The ongoing construction of the four classrooms is being implemented by the sisters at the solidarity center with funding from St. Joseph and Jude Thaddeus parish in Rumia, Poland.

In his inspection at the site visit, Bishop Kussala named the areas and institutions under St. Augustine Parish to be “ATARI”. Literally translated into Pazande language Google, “where hidden information can be obtained”.

“I officially from today onward rename this place to be ATARI,” says Bishop. St. Augustine Parish is found in the central deanery of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio.

The Catholic Diocese of Tambura Yambio continues to construct more learning institutions across Western Equatoria with an aim to eradicate the rate of high retrace and to build prominent future leaders in South Sudan through education.

St. Augustine Nursery and primary school had been one of the under-tree schools but offer quality education.

For her part, Sr. Elizabeth, one of the sisters from Solidarity Teachers College expressed her gratitude for the inspection and said it was courageous and blessed. “I am very happy that his Lordship Bishop has come to observe the ongoing construction of the primary school which is being supported by Saint Joseph and Jude Thaddeus from Poland. We promise that the construction will finish soon and children will have a better learning facility, better teaching aids, and best teachers to upgrade the level of education in the Diocese and Western Equatoria at large”.
